Available Cab Styles

For 2005, Toyota Tundra was available in three different cab styles- a crew-cab Double Cab with 4 standard side doors, an extended Access Cab with 2 small back-hinged rear doors, and a regular cab. The cabin of Double Cab was four inches broader than the remaining vehicles. The regular cabs were featured with an eight-foot cargo bed, whereas the Access Cabs had a 6.1-ft bed along with Toyota’s StepSide flared-fender cargo box and a standard box.

Engine Details



2005 Toyota Tundra was powered by a 4.0-liter V6 engine, which was used to develop 245 hp of power, and this engine was replaced by a 3.4-liter engine for 190 hp of power. This engine was paired with a manual 6-speed transmission. In addition to this, the vehicle had an optional 4.7-liter V8 engine, which was used to develop 282 hp of power.

Safety Features

Some of the safety items included in Toyota Tundra 2005 edition were an antilock braking system, curtain side airbags, front passenger and driver knee airbags, an automatic dual zone climate control system, and front as well as rear side airbags.
